What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pro Shop Staff position at Oliphant Golf Management - Watertown Country Club?
Watertown Country Club is looking for friendly and professional Pro Shop staff to work in their full-service golfing outfitter. Qualified individuals will preferably have experience in retail, money handling, and customer service. Previous experience in a golf course setting is helpful but not required. Availability to work weekdays, mornings and afternoons, and weekends are required.
Experience and Skills:
- Previous experience in customer service is highly preferred, in a golf course, retail, or hospitality environment is helpful.
- Effective communication and excellent interpersonal skills.
- Works well with a variety of people.
- Ability to handle cash, process transactions accurately, and use point-of-sale systems.
- Knowledge of golf course operations, including tee time scheduling and basic golf etiquette, is a plus.
- An ideal candidate should be flexible and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and schedule tee-times
- Offer friendly, professional customer service
- Merchandise sales and cash handling/POS
- Keeping the shop orderly and clean
- Work with teammates and other staff with a helpful, positive attitude
- Provide other related services, tasks, and projects as required
Schedule:
- Tuesdays through Sundays (Weekends are required)
Pay:
- $12-$14/hr. depending on experience
