Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Retail Sales Associate to join our Olive and Rose Boutique team in our Appleton downtown location. In this role, you will be the face of our store, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive shopping experience for all customers. You will assist with sales, stock management, and cash handling while promoting our products through effective communication and upselling techniques.
Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products within the store.
- Provide knowledgeable and friendly customer service to enhance the shopping experience.
- Operate the cash register efficiently, handling cash transactions accurately.
- Maintain an organized and well-stocked sales floor by restocking shelves as needed.
- Assist in inventory management, including receiving and organizing stock deliveries.
- Engage in upselling techniques to promote additional products to customers.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues or concerns promptly.
- Ensure compliance with store policies and procedures regarding cash handling and customer service.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred.
- Must have a love for fashion and boutiques.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing.
- Experience with grocery store operations is a plus but not required.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn about products and services offered in-store.
- Comfortable with being in front of the camera for photoshoots and social media posting.
- Social media experience is a plus.
- This is a part-time position. MUST BE available for two Saturday and Sunday shifts per month and work half days during the week.
