Overview
Join our team in providing care and treatment to at-risk youth, fostering an environment of acceptance, warmth, and understanding.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Supervise care and treatment of clients in residence.
- Be available during holidays and emergencies.
- Interface with clinical staff, community agencies, and school personnel.
- Implement treatment plans directed by the residential manager.
- Maintain accurate records and reports daily.
- Ensure proper medical attention and administer medications.
- Transport clients to appointments when needed.
- Maintain a safe, clean environment and provide nutritious meals.
- Develop and supervise areas of concentration (e.g., education, recreation).
- Ensure compliance with regulations and maintain accurate budgets.
- Attend staff meetings and training sessions.
- Provide access to religious services for clients.
- Adhere to agency policies and procedures.
- Intervene in crisis situations and provide stable role modeling.
- Report maintenance needs to supervisor.
- Ensure security of facility and vehicle keys.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree OR two years of full-time experience working with at-risk youth OR two years' experience in a group home or residential program.
- Minimum age of 21.
- First Aid/CPR certification.
- Ability to handle emotionally disturbed and potentially violent youth.
- Proficiency in English, report writing, and housekeeping.
- Ability to intervene in crisis situations with minors up to 20 years old.
- Adequate vision and hearing for proper supervision.
- Criminal record clearance.
- Alignment with Olive Crest's mission, vision, and values.
- Eligibility to work under mental health funded programs.
- Valid California Driver’s License and clean driving record.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $23.00 per hour
