OVERVIEW

We are seeking Youth Partners to supervise teenage girls in a residential program. This includes modeling healthy relationships, teaching the girls to set healthy boundaries, and teach independent living skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Supervise, protect and care for children individually and in groups, according to standards set forth by Community Care Licensing.
• Maintain a safe, clean environment.
• Perform required quality assurance checks and document accurately and timely.
• Assist each youth in working with a group and in handling individual problems.
• Teach youths independent living skills such as food preparation, house cleaning, laundering and yard work
• Ensure proper medical attention for clients.
• Provide guidance to assist clients’ in meeting their individual therapeutic goals.
• Transport youth and escort them to designated appointments and activities.
• Provide clients with access and freedom of choice to attend religious services.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must have a California Driver’s License and clean driving record.
• Must have 3 years of history as a licensed driver.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred.
• Must have a High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must receive and maintain a criminal record clearance as determined by California’s Caregiver Background Check Bureau.
• Must have the ability to remain awake and alert for the duration of your shift.

Schedule:

B Shift- 36 hours

• Wednesday- 9 am to 12 pm (Staff Meeting)
• Thursday- 2 pm to 11 pm
• Friday- 1 pm to 10 pm
• Saturday- 7 am to 10 pm
• Off: Sunday - Tuesday

Pay: From $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36.5 per week
