We’re looking for an enthusiastic, driven, and people-oriented Host to deliver facilitate a warm, family-friendly atmosphere.
Duties
- Warmly and graciously greet all guests upon arrival
- When possible, open the front door for guests entering or leaving the restaurant
- Call out name and number of party when tables become available
- Provide guests with estimated waiting time
- Accommodate special seating requests for guests whenever possible
- Seat guests based on guest preferences and balancing of customer flow in service stations
- Inspect table for proper presentation and completeness
- Converse with guests as they are escorting to table assignments
- Relay messages to servers as needed
- Answering the phone in a polite and friendly manner
Skills
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and provide excellent guest services
- A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and helping others in a customer service capacity
