Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Personal Assistant to provide support in daily living activities and enhance the quality of life for individuals in need. Duties
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and housekeeping tasks.
- Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful conversations to promote emotional well-being.
- Support clients with medication administration and monitor adherence to prescribed regimens.
- Help clients manage appointments and transportation needs, ensuring they attend medical visits or social engagements.
- Maintain accurate records of client care and report any changes in health status or behavior to appropriate parties.
- Assist clients with mobility and physical activities, ensuring safety at all times.
- Uphold resident rights while providing care, fostering an environment of respect and dignity.
Experience
Ideal candidates will possess experience or skills in the following areas:
- Cleanliness and organization within a caregiving environment.
- Knowledge of social work principles and practices.
- Experience in caregiving, patient care, or dementia care.
- Familiarity with working with individuals with disabilities.
- Understanding of resident rights and advocacy.
- Ability to take vital signs and recognize health changes.
