EVENT DESIGNER
- Create and develop unique event concepts and themes that align with client goals and brand identity.
- Plan the visual aspects of the event, including layout, decor, color schemes, and overall aesthetics.
- Research, select, and manage relationships with vendors, including florists, rental companies, and lighting specialists.
- Develop and manage design budgets, ensuring all elements are delivered within financial constraints.
- Create design mockups or digital renderings as applicable for each event.
- Work closely with other event team members (coordinators, production teams) to ensure cohesive execution of the design vision.
- Conduct site visits to assess spaces and determine the best design implementation.
- Oversee logistics related to design elements, including timelines for setup and breakdown.
- Address design challenges that arise during planning and execution, offering creative solutions.
- Recruits, hires, and manages temporary staff for on-site event production and decoration, ensuring all team members are trained and aligned with event objectives and standards.
- Acknowledges that additional hours, including off-hours, are expected during the lead-up to and on the event date to ensure successful execution.
