About the role :
Step into a pivotal leadership role at OLIVER Agency where you'll shape the excellence of our global in-house studio operations for a leading multinational manufacturing / consumer -products client. As a key member of our dynamic team, you'll guide a diverse and talented group to deliver outstanding outputs, driven by clear goals and KPIs. Each region within this global account has its own business director, but the US-based business director enjoys the additional opportunity and responsibility of driving key global relationships and initiatives while working with the client's global headquarters. The business director role is a senior account management and leadership role, similar to group account director or other like titles. Reporting to OLIVER's Managing Partner and working closely with the Senior Account Director, Creative Director and others, you will lead the client services team for a studio that delivers social content, e-commerce content, 3D CGI rendering, content strategy, copywriting and so much more – across a variety of global business units. By leveraging cutting-edge technology and AI solutions, you'll streamline processes and enhance efficiency. Your leadership will foster strong stakeholder relationships, ensuring transparency and accountability in all aspects of our work. As a Business Director , you will lead the strategic and operational efforts for our client. Your role is pivotal in managing relationships, delivering high-quality services, and driving business growth.
What you will be doing :
- Relationship Management : Serve as the primary contact for marketing, brand and agency leadership stakeholders, ensuring strong, effective partnerships up and down the org chart
- Strategic Planning : Develop and implement strategies to achieve business goals and identify growth opportunities, develop staffing plans that serve the clients' needs and that operate effectively and profitably
- Operational Oversight : Oversee daily operations, ensuring projects are completed efficiently and effectively – with direct support from a robust account and project management team – and that client feedback and evolving requirements are implemented within the team's operations
- Implementation of New Initiatives : With support from the relevant subject-matter experts within OLIVER and from your team, the business director must have the ability to turn plans into action and deploy new teams, new workstreams, new tools, etc.
- Team Leadership : Lead and mentor a diverse team, fostering a collaborative and inclusive environment
- Financial Management : Manage budgets and financial performance, aiming for efficiency and profitability
- Quality Assurance : Maintain high standards and continuously seek process improvements
- Reporting : OLIVER puts a tremendous emphasis on data-driven reporting around all of our engagements, and the business director is the primary person responsible for ensuring timely, meaningful, actionable reporting to clients on a regular basis (monthly operational reports on team utilization, financial status, delivery effectiveness, etc., as well as quarterly business reviews on larger, more strategic topics)

Salary : $140,000 - $155,000
