Position Overview:
The Brand & Content Marketing Manager will play a key role in driving Oliver Gal's brand equity and scaling our marketing strategy through organic and experiential channels. This position demands a hands-on executor who excels in managing content creation, influencer collaborations, and event marketing to drive significant growth in our DTC channels. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in a DTC brand, with a strong background in content-driven growth strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning & Execution:
- Develop and implement a content and experiential marketing strategy aligned with Oliver Gal’s vision and business objectives.
- Optimize the customer journey, from awareness to retention, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Brand Calendar Management: Build and maintain a comprehensive brand calendar aligned with company initiatives, ensuring strategic content planning.
- Influencer & Partnership Management: Lead influencer strategy, identifying and cultivating relationships with brand-relevant creators for long-term collaborations. Oversee partnerships, giveaways, ambassador programs, and influencer seeding for new launches.
- PR & Events: Manage PR strategy, media outreach, and event planning, including influencer and ambassador events from ideation to execution.
Key Priorities:
Content and Experiential Marketing:
- Oversee all organic marketing efforts, including content marketing, influencer partnerships, affiliate marketing, and community-driven engagement.
- Develop data-driven strategies to increase customer acquisition and retention through non-paid channels.
- Lead brand partnerships, collaborations, and experiential activations to drive awareness and engagement.
Brand Positioning and Creative Direction:
- Own the development and execution of content and experiential marketing initiatives, ensuring alignment with brand identity and voice.
- Collaborate with creative teams to ensure all marketing and product materials align with the brand's aesthetic.
Oversee Daily Operations:
- Manage the content and experiential marketing efforts on a day-to-day basis, ensuring seamless execution of all campaigns and initiatives.
Internal and External Team Coordination:
- Oversee an internal team while working with external partners and freelancers for roles such as TikTok strategy, content creation, creative strategy, and event marketing.
- Build strong relationships with content creators and influencers to enhance brand reach and engagement.
Goal Setting and Accountability:
- Collaborate with leadership to set clear marketing goals, hold the team accountable, and ensure consistent alignment with the marketing calendar.
Platform and Campaign Execution:
- Identify and capitalize on new marketing opportunities, such as platform integrations, affiliate partnerships, and experiential activations.
- Ensure the team is equipped with the necessary assets, analytics, and integrations to execute efficiently.
Lean Team Execution:
- Operate effectively within a lean team structure, balancing strategic oversight with hands-on execution of campaigns and initiatives.
Budgeting and Analytics:
- Establish and manage budgets, ensuring cost-effective allocation of resources to maximize ROI.
- Develop and track KPIs to evaluate the success of content and experiential marketing efforts.
- Use data insights to refine strategies and inform future initiatives.
Competencies and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in a DTC marketing role, with demonstrated success in content and experiential marketing.
- Proven ability to manage content-driven marketing strategies and campaigns without reliance on paid media.
- Expertise in digital marketing platforms, including SEO tools, influencer platforms, and content management systems.
- Strong analytical skills, with a deep understanding of data visualization and reporting tools like Google Analytics or Tableau.
- Exceptional organizational and project management skills.
- Creative thinker with a track record of developing impactful brand campaigns.
Preferred Experience:
- Knowledge of the home décor or art industry.
- Familiarity with marketing to both B2C and B2B segments.
- Experience in integrating marketing technologies such as personalization tools and community-building platforms.
