Position Summary ​

The Global Supply Chain Manager is responsible for a mix of projects and supplier relationships, including planning and execution against identified priorities & opportunities. The role requires a high attention to detail as well as strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence key stakeholders. This individual will work with various functions, manufacturing locations, product lines, and geographic regions. The individual should possess a strong bias for action.​

*The role is flexible on location with a preference for proximity to an existing Oliver Healthcare Packaging site.

Project Management​


  • Act as a key conduit and collaborator between Procurement, Technical, NPI, Product Management, Sales Operations and the Supply base to identify key technologies, drive strategic projects, and ensure priorities align with key material needs.​
  • Identify projects that support overall cost management and position Oliver to be competitive from a material standpoint and then work towards driving identified projects to completion.​
  • Responsible for all aspects of project management life cycle, within Procurement, including intake, cost-benefit analysis, scoping, requirements gathering, document approval tracking and management, project plan creation, status reporting, issue resolution, and post-mortem.​


Supplier Management


  • Ability to effectively manage suppliers, including potential for specific commodities, by building strategic relationships, partnering with supplier to find win-win outcomes, conducting regular business reviews, implementing indexed pricing and related price negotiations.​
  • Ability to establish and execute against supplier and/or category strategies in a way that maximizes value to Oliver and, ultimately, the customers we serve.​
  • Identify, prioritize and ensure execution against initiatives that prioritize vendor performance and exceptional OTIF. Ability to understand when a pivot is needed and high comfort level making the pivot.​
  • Ability to accurately model and forecast financial impact of price- and project-related movements.​
  • Effectively track cost management activities and report-out on a regular cadence.​

  • Ability to generate clear, concise report-outs for a wide audience.​
  • Ability to use (or learn) SAP in a way that supports meaningful data extraction and analysis.​
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.​


Basic Qualifications​

Education


A

  • dvanced education in a technical, business or supply chain-oriented field of study.​

xperience​

  • inimum five years of Supply Chain Management experience, preferably with increasing responsibility.​P
  • referred: Prior experience in manufacturing environment and/or healthcare packaging industry. ​P
  • referred: ISM, APICS, or PMI certification ​
