Position Summary:
The Overnight Hotel Supervisor is a leadership role responsible for overseeing all overnight
operations of the hotel. Acting as the primary contact for guests and staff during nighttime
hours, this position ensures a safe, secure, and seamless guest experience. In addition to
supervisory duties, the role includes night audit functions, accounts payable support, and
coordination with housekeeping, valet and early morning lobby restaurant.

Position Summary:
The Overnight Hotel Supervisor is a leadership role responsible for overseeing all overnight
operations of the hotel. Acting as the primary contact for guests and staff during nighttime
hours, this position ensures a safe, secure, and seamless guest experience. In addition to
supervisory duties, the role includes night audit functions, accounts payable support, and
coordination with housekeeping, valet and early morning lobby restaurant.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the hotel’s acting overnight leader on-duty, handling guest issues, safety
- Supervise overnight staff including housekeeping, public area attendants, and valet
- Ensure all nightly reports, reconciliations, and accounting procedures are completed
- Post and balance charges, complete audit processes, and prepare end-of-day reports.
- Perform all front desk functions including checking guests in and out, processing
- Perform accounts payable-related tasks such as invoice coding and data entry.
- Monitor security systems and coordinate emergency responses as needed.
- Communicate key overnight updates to the morning management team.
- Maintain a visible presence in the lobby and common areas to support guest
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a hotel night auditor, front desk agent, or overnight supervisor
- Strong knowledge of front desk systems (e.g., PMS, POS) and accounting principles.
- Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions on behalf of management.
- Experience with accounts payable or hotel bookkeeping is a plus.
- Must be able to stand, walk, and occasionally lift up to 25 lbs.
- Familiarity with property management systems such as Infor.
- Understanding of security protocols and guest service best practices.
- Leadership experience in a hotel or service-driven environment.
