Position Details:
In this role, you will have the responsibility of washing and sanitizing dishes, glassware, and utensils, as well as the opportunity to support the food prep staff. We offer competitive compensation and the chance to acquire new skills in a fast-paced and professionally-minded hotel setting.
Looking for both morning and night shifts.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain a clean working environment by sweeping and mopping kitchen floors daily
- Scrape plates, sort dishes, and rinse glassware before putting them in the dishwasher to be cleaned
- Maintain proper amounts of detergents and other cleaning supplies, and notify the supervisor of any mechanical defects with the dishwashing machine
- Attend regular employee meetings that will help you stay current on all procedures and safety protocols
- Place utensils and dishes in proper storage areas after unloading the dishwasher
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to work on your feet for up to 12 hours. Position requires prolonged standing, bending, stooping, twisting, and lifting products and supplies weighing 20 pounds and occasional lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds as well as repetitive hand and wrist motion.
