We have partnered with a leading US insurance company in search of a Catastrophe Modelling Director to lead the Catastrophe Management team, developing strategies for risk assessment and pricing. Oversee catastrophe modeling to predict losses and enhance the overall exposure management function to improve modeling methodologies and support decision-making.
- Lead and manage the Catastrophe Management team.
- Develop and implement strategies for catastrophe risk assessment and pricing.
- Oversee the use of various catastrophe modeling software like AIR and RMS to predict potential losses.
- Enhance methodologies for catastrophe exposure management.
- Conduct advanced research in catastrophe modeling to support decision-making processes.
- Maintain effective communication across internal teams and stakeholders to ensure alignment of the catastrophe risk perspective.
- Prepare and present detailed reports and findings to senior management and other relevant stakeholders.
- Expertise in Catastrophe Insurance Pricing.
- Proficient with Catastrophe Modeling Software including but not limited to AIR, RMS, and SQL-based modeling tools.
- Advanced knowledge in Statistical Software 'R' for catastrophe modeling.
- Capability to lead and inspire a team of Catastrophe Modelling Researchers and Scientists.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
Salary : $150,000 - $185,000
