A well known medical professional liability insurance carrier for physicians, other healthcare professionals, hospitals and healthcare facilities in New York, Connecticut, New Jersey and Pennsylvania is looking to bring on a Senior Complex Claims Specialist to join their growing team. They are looking for someone who has direct experience handling complex medical malpractice claims.
The 3rd largest writer of medical professional liability in New York State and the 13th largest MPL insurer in the United States, with annual written premiums in excess of $170 million with offices in Roslyn, New York and Rochester, New York is growing their claims team and looking to bring on a Senior Complex Claims Specialist.
In this role you will be directly handling complex medical malpractice claims specifically physicians and facilities. The right candidate will have a strong background in coverage analysis, liability investigation, litigation management, trial monitoring and reporting. Ability to negotiate claim settlements directly or through attorneys and attend trials and mediation's when necessary.

This role is 5 days on site for onboarding and then drops down to 3 days in office / 2 days remote.
They have an office in Roslyn, New York - ideal for a candidate who lives in Long Island and does not want to commute into the city or for someone who lives in the city and wants to do a reverse commute!
They also have an office in Rochester, NY!
