Title: Systems Engineer

Location: Asheville, NC (5 days onsite)

We are seeking a skilled Systems Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining complex software environments that drive efficiency and security for our clients. You will work across a variety of Microsoft technologies and virtualization platforms to deliver tailored solutions that align with business needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement solutions leveraging Microsoft technologies, including Windows Server, Exchange, SQL, and SharePoint.
• Develop and maintain system architectures that support both strategic goals and specific customer requirements.
• Ensure business continuity through the implementation of disaster recovery and remote access solutions.
• Provide expert guidance through system assessments, documentation, and proactive recommendations.
• Maintain strong communication with clients, offering clear updates on technical changes, incidents, and planned maintenance.
• Support virtualized environments (VMware/Hyper-V), focusing on system optimization and storage management.
• Maintain accurate records of system deployments and technology use across client environments.
• Work collaboratively within a team to drive efficiency and customer satisfaction.
• Manage escalations efficiently, ensuring prompt resolution within service-level agreements.
• Stay informed on evolving technologies and industry trends to enhance service delivery.
  
  

What We're Looking For

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years in IT-related roles, with hands-on expertise in virtualization and Microsoft-based environments.
• Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of virtualized networks, storage solutions, and disaster recovery strategies.
• Certifications: Associate-level certifications required (e.g., Microsoft Windows Server Hybrid Administrator, Microsoft 365 Administrator, Veeam VMCE, HPE ASE); advanced certifications in Microsoft Azure, VMware, or Microsoft 365 are a plus.
• Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities, strong communication skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
• Education: A degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is preferred.
