What are the responsibilities and job description for the SY26 ESL Teacher/Co-Teacher position at Oliver Middle School?
Oliver Middle School is seeking out an ELL/English as a New Language (ENL) teacher for SY26. The ideal candidate has some experience teaching Multilingual Learners and co-teaching with content area instructors to provide differentiated support and feedback for students at varying levels of English language proficiency. The ENL teacher co-teaches with a core content teacher and acts as the grade level expert on language supports; however, at Oliver Middle we believe every teacher is a teacher of language. All teachers are expected to implement language supports for our ML students.
Oliver Middle serves students in Lawrence, MA in grades 5-8. At Oliver Middle, we embrace a growth mindset for staff and students. As a result of our hard work, Oliver Middle was recently taken off the state underperforming list, and we continue to grow each year.
