Oliver Companies is seeking to hire an Assistant Sales Manager to work closely with the Sales Manager, assisting in daily operation and strategic planning. This person would serve as a liaison between the sales team and management to ensure smooth communication and operation. This successful candidate is expected to be a trainer and mentor and help in the development of the sales staff to enhance their skills and performance. We are looking for someone to be a customer advocate, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. Other attributes in the successful candidate would include, but not limited to overseeing the execution of sales process and operations and having the ability to analyze data to provide insights for improving sales strategies and performance.
This position is based in Hohenwald, TN.
Responsibilities:
Ø Supporting Sales Leadership – Implement sales strategies. Assist in setting sales targets and objectives for the team
Ø Team Management – Provide guidance, support and assist in managing the daily operations of the sales team, including performance monitoring and motivation
Ø Customer Relation Management – Build and maintain strong customer relationships. Efficiently handle customer inquiries, complaints, and issues promptly and effectively
Ø Sales Performance Monitoring – Monitor the sales team’s performance against targets and objectives. Prepare and communicate sales performance reports to Management
Ø Market Analysis and Research – Ability to conduct market research to identify new sales opportunities and understand market trends. Provide insights and recommendations based on market data and analysis
Ø Sales Operation and Administration – Oversee the administration of sales activities, including order processing, inventory management, and customer service. Ensure that sales operations are efficient and compliant with company policies
Ø Sales Campaigns and Promotions – Assist in planning and executing sales campaigns and promotional activities
Ø Customer Feedback and Improvement – Improve sales strategies and customer service through customer feedback. Communicate customer feedback to relevant departments for continuous improvement
Qualifications:
Ø Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
Ø Exceptional customer service/relationship experience
Ø Experience analyzing data, and generating reports
Ø Experience in training and development
Education/Experience:
Ø AS or BS in Business or related field.
Ø 5 years sales experience and 3 years management experience preferred.
Ø Advanced working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and CRM (Salesforce, Keap, Zoho etc.).
Ø RV experience a plus
