Job Summary:
The Inventory Specialist is responsible for managing event inventory, maintaining organization within the workspace, and ensuring seamless logistics for event operations. This role requires attention to detail, physical endurance, and effective communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update the inventory database.
- Ensure event items are stored in designated locations and accurately recorded in the system.
- Pack, label, and unpack event items.
- Organize and maintain the work area for efficiency.
- Conduct quality control checks on event items.
- Monitor emails and coordinate with the office team regarding inventory requests.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the inventory space.
- Direct drivers on loading/unloading event items.
Job Requirements:
- Must own a smartphone.
- Proficiency with computers (PC) and inventory management software.
- Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Minimum typing speed: 40 words per minute.
- Valid driver's license.
- Ability to drive a box/cube truck (non-CDL).
- Comfortable with physically demanding tasks, including frequent stair climbing.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly throughout the shift.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
