Job Summary: We are seeking a Store Associate to join our team in Big Rapids, MI. As a Store Associate, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, maintaining store appearance, and assisting with merchandising and inventory management.
About the Role: The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Providing exceptional customer service by greeting and acknowledging every customer with Ollie's 'Yes I Care, Yes I Can' approach.
- Managing cash register transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Being an Ollie's store and inventory expert, knowing our weekly deals and the incredible value we provide our customers.
- Assisting with freight logistics and learning how great retailers merchandise their products.
Requirements: To be considered for this role, you must have:
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred
- Happy to train new associates who may not have 6 months of prior retail experience
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays on a regular basis
- A positive attitude and team player who wants to delight and serve customers
