Job Summary

As a vital member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality care to patients experiencing medical emergencies, ensuring their safety and comfort while delivering critical interventions.
Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in the Emergency Room setting.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Perform essential procedures including suture, venipuncture, and cardiac catheterization.
- Provide care for patients with various conditions including infectious diseases, pediatrics, and senior care.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient management.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with hospital policies.
- Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatment plans, and post-discharge care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives within the Emergency Room.
Experience
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
- Previous experience in an Emergency Room or Level I Trauma Center is preferred.
- Familiarity with hospital medicine practices and emergency response protocols.
- Experience in teaching or mentoring nursing students is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively under pressure.

Job Type: Contract
Pay: $58.16 - $61.79 per hour
