About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Food Runner/Expo to join our team at Hilton Marco Island Beach Resort & Spa. As a Food Runner/Expo, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely delivery of food to our guests, as well as assisting the kitchen staff with food preparation and production. Your attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment will be essential to the success of our restaurant.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Manual dexterity for handling kitchen equipment
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience as a Head Chef or Sous Chef
- Ability to climb stairs
- Experience in a high-volume restaurant environment
Responsibilities:
- Deliver food orders to guests in a timely and efficient manner
- Assist kitchen staff with food preparation and production
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas
- Communicate effectively with guests and team members
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines
Skills:
As a Food Runner/Expo, you will utilize your skills in food preparation, production, and delivery to ensure the highest level of service for our guests. Your ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members, as well as your attention to detail and adherence to food safety guidelines, will be crucial to your success in this role. Additionally, experience in a high-volume restaurant environment and as a Head Chef or Sous Chef will be beneficial in this position.
