Join our amazing team where the opportunities are endless. Are you passionate about plants? Do you have a green thumb? We are looking for a Nursery Specialist that will work and float from our Park Ridge, Oak Park and Franklin Park locations.
The Nursery Specialist will cultivate relationships with our customers by answering questions on all our indoor and outdoor plants while developing our plant business. The individual will be responsible for ordering, merchandising and working with our team to ensure live goods are maintained and selling.
The ideal candidate will have prior retail experience and solid working knowledge involving indoor plants, decor and overall live goods. This is a full-time position and requires the individual to travel between locations on a regular basis.
Requirements
• Provide a positive representation of Olson’s Ace Hardware
• Identify sales opportunities finding the perfect solution for each and every customer
• Provide plant recommendations and product knowledge
• Work as a team member to achieve / exceed the overall store’s total revenue goals
• Restock and tidy plant tables, clean plants and merchandised properly
• Participate in marketing events within the community
