We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as an Administrative Support Specialist. The successful candidate will provide clerical and administrative support to the Tax Assessor's Office, assisting with property records, customer inquiries, and general office tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer service to the public regarding tax assessments and property records.
- Process property assessment applications, exemptions, and other related documents.
- Maintain and update property records and databases with accurate information.
- Perform data entry, filing, and scanning of documents.
- Prepare and distribute notices, letters, and reports as required.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED; additional coursework in office administration or a related field preferred.
- Prior experience in a clerical, administrative, or customer service role, preferably in a government office or tax-related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and database management.
