Job Title: Office Support Clerk

The Olsten Staffing team is seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to provide clerical and administrative support to the Tax Assessor's Office in Marion, SC. The ideal candidate will assist with property records, customer inquiries, and general office tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide excellent customer service to the public regarding tax assessments and property records.
  • Maintain and update property records and databases with accurate information.
  • Process property assessment applications, exemptions, and other related documents.
  • Perform data entry, filing, and scanning of documents.
  • Prepare and distribute notices, letters, and reports as required.

Required Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED; additional coursework in office administration or a related field preferred.
  • Prior experience in a clerical, administrative, or customer service role, preferably in a government office or tax-related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and database management.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Work Environment:
  • Office setting with frequent interaction with the public.
  • Frequent use of computer equipment and occasional lifting of files or office supplies (up to 25 lbs).

Benefits: Competitive hourly rate of $12.50, plus medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits, and a 401K plan.
