Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor factory machinery, including stamping presses, milling machines, and assembly line equipment.
- Assemble components and products according to specifications and quality standards.
- Utilize precision measuring instruments to ensure accuracy in production processes.
- Handle materials effectively throughout the manufacturing process, ensuring proper storage and organization.
- Perform routine maintenance on machines and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety regulations.
- Assist in training new operators on equipment operation and safety procedures.
Skills
- Experience in a factory or manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments for quality control.
- Familiarity with stamping presses, milling machines, and general machining processes.
- Knowledge of materials handling techniques within a warehouse or assembly line setting.
- Ability to operate forklifts safely and efficiently (certification preferred).
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on producing high-quality work.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues as they arise.
- Effective communication skills for working collaboratively within a team.
