Construction Assistant (entry-level position) for Indianapolis Area, Westfield, Brownsburg & Plainfield, IN

Summary: Responsible for miscellaneous clean up and construction tasks outside of trade partner duties.
Duties, responsibilities & expectations:
Essential Job Functions:
- Assist construction manager with punch list
- Assist customer care manager with 30-day and 1-year customer care check ups
- Assist with general tasks as assigned by construction manager
- Maintains a clean job site: sweep, picks up all debris, tools and equipment
- Load and unload construction materials when needed
- Operate, move, and care for construction equipment (power washer, generator, ladder)
- Occasional digging of holes and trenches in preparation of job site construction
- Life heavy loads up to 50 lbs
- Perform physical activities such as climbing, lifting, walking, stooping and handling of materials
- Maintains and cleans truck
- This position has no supervisory responsibilities
Minimum education, experience & knowledge:
- Minimum of a high school diploma or GED required
- Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving history
- Knowledge about residential home construction is an advantage but not required
- Must be handy with tools
- Ability to do physical labor and other strenuous physical tasks
- Ability to work in all weather
- Must be available to work from 7 am to 5 pm Monday thru Friday
