About The Role :
Reporting to our Senior Director of Marketing, melin is looking for a highly versatile Sr. Brand Partnerships Manager to join our Marketing team. The Sr. Brand Partnerships Manager should have exceptional interpersonal skills and demonstrated success identifying industry trends, building strong relationships, and creating campaigns with authentic storytelling. They will be a strong communicator and able to balance priorities and requests across multiple projects and work in tandem with cross-functional partners and brand department leads (Brand Marketing, Creative, Product, Retail, Ecom, Sales). This person should have experience in either action sports, lifestyle, fashion or the entertainment industry and be well-versed in all facets of partnerships including business development, brand elevation, account management, contract negotiations and legal best practices. They are responsible for helping grow brand awarenesses, drive incremental revenue for the business, keeping projects on task from start to finish, and keeping all parties updated on the progress. Further, their responsibility is to make sure projects run smoothly and communicate with both the partner and melin department leads to help confirm that all parties are satisfied with the result and have met our desired goals. Responsibilities include but are not limited to :
- Develop comprehensive brand partner strategies aligned with overall brand goals, including revenue driving partnership opportunities, brand elevating collaborations, partnership campaign development, content planning, and partnership event activations execution.
- Oversee all current and new melin brand partner, event partner, and athletes / ambassadors contract agreements.
- Continue to foster and grow new and existing relationships with Brand Partners.
- Negotiate partnerships, contracts, and agreements with Brand Partners, ensuring mutual benefits, surprise and delights, and clear expectations / deliverables.
- Maintain Brand Partner relations and ensure partners are considered for all co-brand opportunities at melin brand photoshoots, events, and activations.
- Track and evaluate the effectiveness of Brand Partner campaigns, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Own monthly Partnerships Campaign Execution and Revenue Recap.
- Help own intake, communication, and Asana Project management for all current and prospecting Partnership opportunities.
- Monitor projects and workloads, adjusting and prioritizing assignments and deadlines accordingly and lead weekly WIP Partnership team meetings.
- Ensure deadlines are met and assets are delivered in a timely manner.
- Effectively communicate and collaborate with Brand Partners, helping to schedule all things necessary to execute partnerships.
- Other responsibilities as assigned.

Location & Office Structure : This is an in-office hybrid position, mandatory 4 days per week in office in San Clemente, with the option to work from home 1 day per week. Subject to change without notice as per company guidelines.
Compensation : The salary range for this position is $111,000 to $140,000 plus opportunity for annual bonus; salary is based on the experience that you bring to the position.
