SUMMARY
This role is for an experienced Graphic Designer with management responsibilities within the Marketing Department. You will oversee all marketing and advertising initiatives for Olum’s locations and website.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design digital ads, web flyers, email blasts, signage, and internal graphics.
- Monitor and respond to customer communications on social media and store SMS.
- Oversee sales promotions and community events using various marketing channels.
- Update websites with current ads, web flashes, and pricing.
- Post job listings and update the Employment page as needed.
- Coordinate with President/CEO and provide updates within the Marketing Department.
- Manage the Marketing Department budget and plan promotional campaigns.
- Buy traditional media (TV/Radio/outdoor) as needed.
- Prepare agendas for Marketing meetings and order necessary supplies.
- Review Co-Op balances and plan marketing campaigns with available funds.
- Conduct yearly employee reviews and set performance goals.
- Maintain partnerships with community partners.
- Prepare location-specific marketing plans and annual budgets.
- Implement marketing strategies aligned with the President/CEO’s vision.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Manages a total of 1-3 non-supervisory employees in the Marketing Department. Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of this department. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
QUALIFICATIONS
Working knowledge of graphic design and publishing software, web design tools, social media management tools, content management systems, email marketing software, and productivity tools. Preference for those with working knowledge of: Quark Xpress, Photoshop, Facebook/Instagram Creator Studio and Ads Manager and Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university, or Associate’s degree (A.A./A.S.) from a two-year college in Marketing, Graphic Design, Web Design, or related field, or related experience and/or training; and at least five years professional marketing or design experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Demonstrated increase of responsibilities in previous jobs, as well as a demonstrated ability to work independently and stay on task with limited supervision, are preferred.

Pay: $24.00 - $27.00 per hour
