About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at OLV Human Services. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of adolescents with Autism and other developmental disabilities.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and Assess: Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments to identify each individual's strengths, challenges, and goals.
- Develop and Implement Individualized Plans: Create tailored plans that address each individual's unique needs and objectives.
- Communicate Effectively: Collaborate with families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.
Skills and Qualifications
- Licensure and Certifications: Valid New York State SLP Licensure, Teacher of Speech and Hearing Handicapped Certification in NYS, Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech Pathology (CCC-SLP).
- Education and Experience: Master's Degree in Speech/Language Pathology/Communication Disorders and 1-2 years' experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities and Applied Behavior Analysis methodology.
