Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinary Technician to join our team. Responsibilities
- Assist veterinarians during examinations and other medical and diagnostic procedures.
- Perform routine laboratory tests.
- Administer medications, vaccinations, and treatments as directed by the veterinarian.
- Monitor animal health by observing behavior, vital signs, and physical condition.
- Maintain accurate medical records for each patient.
- Educate horse owners on proper care practices and post-operative instructions.
- Ensure cleanliness of the clinic complete with treatment area, stalls for outpatient care and surgical suite.
- Handle horses safely and effectively to minimize stress during procedures.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of horse anatomy and physiology.
- Proficient in horse handling techniques to ensure safety for both staff and patients.

Pay: $21.00 - $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 50 per week
