SUMMARY
The Service Bartender ensures the smooth and efficient operation of the bar by assisting bartenders with drink preparation, stocking, and customer service. This role is primarily focused on preparing drinks for servers during dinner service. It requires exceptional communication, multitasking, and organizational skills to help the front-of-house staff deliver top-notch service to guests. The Service Bartender must be energetic, fast-paced, and ready to provide a high-quality guest experience in a bustling, high-energy environment.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES
- Help bartenders make and serve drinks quickly and accurately, ensuring prompt service for customers.
- Prepare garnishes, fruits, syrups, and other bar essentials as needed, ensuring all supplies are fresh and stocked.
- Keep the bar stocked with necessary beverages, mixers, glassware, and supplies; monitor inventory levels and alert management when restocking is required.
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting guests at the bar, taking drink orders, and addressing guest inquiries in a friendly and professional manner.
- Keep the bar area, tables, and workstations clean and organized throughout the shift. Follow all sanitation and safety standards for food and beverage preparation and storage.
- Work closely with servers and other team members to ensure a seamless service experience for guests.
Requirements
EDUCATION, CERTIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Prior bartending experience is preferred.
- Basic math skills.
- Cash-handling experience.
- Knowledge of essential food preparation and knife skills.
- 21 years old.
- Valid Driver’s license.
- Fluent in written and conversational English.
- Experienced computer user.
EXPECTED WORK HOURS
- Should be open to a flexible schedule as needed based on business needs, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Shifts start as early as 6:00 am and end as late as 2:00 am.
- Overtime may be required to meet increased membership needs. Required overtime could extend the workday to 10 hours.
