Responsibilities
- Assist in getting expo line and carry-out supplies ready for service.
- Fill condiment containers, ice, and anything else needed for fast execution of meal running.
- Know menu, menu prices, composition of food and beverage menu items, familiarity with all daily specials and with proper plating procedures.
- Up-sell/suggestively sell food and beverages by describing each item in an appealing way, when necessary.
- Provide courteous guest service and respond to guest requests.
- Be knowledgeable in POS to ring in order, if necessary.
- Confirm the order by repeating back and clarify any doubts, food allergies, or guest concerns before sending the order to the kitchen.
- Close guest checks to the appropriate form of payment and file in a safe place until end of shift.
- Stock supplies daily: include condiments, plates, glassware, silverware, trays, napkins, flowers, printer paper, check presenters, and pens.
- Clean and stock refrigerators with juices, sodas, waters, and milk.
- Provide high level customer service, communicate effectively with guests and team members, follow instructions, ability to learn quickly, pay attention to detail, and maintain composure when working under pressure; demonstrates very good phone skills
- Prior customer service experience is preferred; high school diploma and/or equivalent work experience preferred, but not required
