Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual for the role of Children's Ministry Coordinator at Olympia-Lacey Church of God. This position plays a vital role in helping kids and their families grow in their relationship with Jesus, contributing significantly to our mission of love and hope.
Responsibilities
- Communicate effectively about God and His Word, so as to transform, inspire, and equip children and families as they grow in their relationship with Christ and one another
- Formulate, with the leadership, a vision for Children's Ministry and effectively engage the congregation in its fulfillment
- Staff and coordinate nursery and preschool room needs
- Develop strategies to mobilize families to reach our community for Christ
- Recruit and train up leaders to have a passion to assist in the development of ministry to children and families
- Identify and implement ways to assist families in their pursuit of spiritual growth and family health
- Coordinate opportunities for children and their families to use their gifts to be active in service to Jesus Christ
- Develop discipleship/mentoring program to assist children and families toward Christian maturity.
- Attend staff meetings. Participate in ongoing training and staff retreats as hours allow

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $18.50 per hour
Expected hours: 15 per week
