Central Sterilization Technician– Olympia Orthopaedic Associates
Location: Olympia, WA
Job Type: Per-Diem
Pay: 23.34 – 29.52 per hour
(pay is determined based years of experience)

Central Sterilization Technician Summary:
As a Central Sterilization Technician for Olympia Orthopaedic Associates, you will play a critical role in preventing infection by decontaminating and sterilizing instruments for surgery. Other duties of the position include documenting instrument autoclave and Sterrad loads, restocking and ordering implant sets, and communicating with the team the needs of the department. To be successful in this role, you will need to have a working knowledge of operating autoclaves, washer-decontaminators, Steris machines, Sterrad, ultrasonic cleaners and sealers, along with experience in stocking and inventory procedures.
Our team supports your success and growth through monthly trainings and education, along with daily check ins on the needs of the department.
Central Sterilization Technician Requirements:
- Graduation from a Central Sterile Program and/or at least one-year of working experience as a Central Sterilization Technician.
- Active BLS certification or the ability to obtain one within 90 days from the start of employment.
- Strong attention to detail, multi-tasking, and organization skills.
