We are seeking an enthusiastic and results-driven PHP Programmer / Developer to join our team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in the ongoing development and improvement of our online ordering system.
Summary
As a PHP Programmer / Developer at Olympia Pharmaceuticals, you will collaborate closely with our lead developer to enhance and maintain our online ordering platform. Your responsibilities will include feature development, testing, and assisting with minor IT issues. You will be an integral part of our team, reporting to the Director of Business Development for project prioritization and feature development needs.
Responsibilities
- Platform Understanding: Develop a deep understanding of how our Olympia ordering platform is utilized by customers, technicians, and administrators.
- Development Leadership: Lead development efforts for cosmetic upgrades, feature enhancements, and reporting within the platform.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the lead developer to execute development projects and ensure their successful implementation.
- Testing: Assist with both new feature testing and regression testing for significant releases and updates to maintain system reliability.
- Server Management: Oversee server management where our software resides, ensuring its stability and performance.
Requirements
- Proficiency in PHP 7.4 (with an understanding that the application is migrating to 8.2).
- Experience with CodeIgniter 3 or a similar framework depending on your skillset.
- Strong SQL skills, including the ability to write complex joins.
- Knowledge of MySQL/MariaDB, GIT, and Composer.
- Understanding of the LAMP stack.
- Experience with website development (WordPress) is a plus.
- Familiarity with network hardware, routers, and server management is advantageous.
