What are the responsibilities and job description for the Special Events Coordinator position at Olympia-Team Central Gymnastics?
Our Team is looking for a Special Events Coordinator to provide quality gymnastics/cheer/ninja themed events through a fun-filled, high energy learning environment. They are responsible for scheduling events, preparing marketing materials, scheduling/training staff to work the events, and providing fun and engaging curriculums that keep kids learning and having fun. This position is responsible for key areas including exemplification of excellent leadership, managing the program for outstanding quality and consistency, growing the program and ensuring the program represents an exceptional value to the customers, and providing excellent customer service.
Qualifications:
- Gymnastics, cheer or dance background (preferred)
- Experience working with children (required)
- Ability to lift equipment and spot children (required)
- Strong class management skills (required)
- Outstanding organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills (required)
- High School Diploma (required) College Degree (preferred)
- Knowledge/experience with Word, Excel, Microsoft, Google Docs (required)
