What are the responsibilities and job description for the Group Fitness Instructor position at Olympic Athletic Club?
The Olympic Athletic Club is hiring Group Fitness Instructors!
The Olympic Athletic Club is a premier health club centered in Seattle’s popular Ballard neighborhood. Our newly remodeled facility has three group fitness studios and a spin studio dedicated to group classes.
With two swimming pools and multiple workout areas we are one of the best places to work in Seattle’s Fitness Industry.
We are currently looking for positive, high-energy certified group fitness instructors to join our team.
Immediate positions to fill on our schedule:
- Les Mills BodyPump Instructor Monday (and/or Wednesday at 7.30am-8.30am)
- Barre Instructor Monday 6.30am-7.30am
We are also looking for:
Cycle and Pilates Instructors to join our team.
Group Fitness Instructor requirements:
· Current, nationally recognized accredited group fitness certification (ACE, NASM) and/or valid certifications for other class formats
· Minimum 1 year teaching at an established gym or club (preferred)
· Be able to plan a safe and effective, engaging workout that offers modifications and can modify intensity for all fitness levels
· Arriving early prepared for class, greet participants, use microphone (if needed) and be comfortable teaching to up to 35 members
· Current CPR and first aid certification
