About the Position:
This is a hybrid adjunct faculty position that involves teaching face-to-face applied physics classes at the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard. As an instructor, you will be responsible for teaching students the essential concepts of forces, work, rates, resistance, energy, and waves.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans for applied physics courses
- Evaluate student progress and provide feedback
- Stay current with developments in the field of physics and adapt instruction accordingly
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in physics or a related field
- Desired: Master's Degree in physics or a related field
- College-level teaching experience
