Job Title: Communication & Web Services CoordinatorDepartment: CommunicationReports To: Chief Communications OfficerSalary: $67,047 - $73,752The Communications Coordinator is responsible for producing written and multimedia content for the college's website, newsletters, blog, social media platforms, digital advertising, and email communications. They ensure all communications comply with college policies related to accessibility, non-discrimination, copyright, branding, and website governance. Additionally, this role involves creating and disseminating press releases, cultivating media relationships, and providing communications support for various college divisions and departments. The role supports enrollment, retention, and community engagement by delivering strategic, inclusive messaging and maintaining consistent branding. Through collaboration across departments and impactful storytelling, the Communications Coordinator strengthens connections with the community and contributes to the college’s mission of equity, inclusion, and student success.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
Producing written content for the Olympic College website.Editing, and approving website content updates.Preform webpage layout tasks in the College’s website content management system.Writing, editing, and laying out news releases and announcements.Write weekly events and activities newsletter and social media content schedule. Actively participates in photo and video shoots.Creating and refining content for print collateral for Olympic College's various divisions and departments.
SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION

Only candidates who are currently authorized to work in the United States will be considered.This is a full-time exempt position scheduled to work Monday through Friday.
