Full-Time Tenure Track Radiologic Technology Salary: $78,411 - $109,033 per yearDepartment: HealthcareReports to: Dean of Nursing and Allied HealthProposed starting date: Fall 2025Olympic College seeks faculty who are dedicated to student-centered learning and to fostering an equitable and inclusive educational environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a track record of employing culturally-responsive pedagogy, utilizing disaggregated data to guide instruction, and teaching and mentoring minoritized student populations. Olympic College enrolls a racially and socioeconomically diverse student body of approximately 10,500 students annually. Among them, 4% are African American, 5% Latinx, 1% are Native American/Alaska Native, 1% are Pacific Islander, 7 % are Asian, 62% are White, and 15% are multiracial. A comprehensive community college, we offer instruction in Basic Studies to include awarding a high school diploma, GED preparation, and English to Speakers of Other Languages; academic transfer and workforce education degrees and certificates; four applied baccalaureate degrees, and community education in our two-county region.The Radiologic Full-Time Tenure Track Faculty is responsible for providing high-quality instruction, curriculum development, and academic leadership within the Radiologic Technology (RADT) program, ensuring compliance with educational and clinical standards. This position reports to the Dean of Nursing and Allied Health. The primary purpose of this position is to ensure that students receive high-quality education and training that meets industry standards, leading to successful certification and employment in the field of radiologic technology.

EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
Teach and develop courses in the Radiologic Technology program, including lectures, lab instruction, and clinical education;Design, implement, and update course curriculum to align with accreditation standards and industry best practices;Conduct student assessments using a variety of instructional methodologies and evaluation tools to measure learning outcomes;Supervise students in clinical settings, ensuring the application of theoretical knowledge to practical sonographic procedures;Engage in academic advising, mentoring, and career guidance for students;Participate in program accreditation processes, ensuring compliance with institutional and accreditation body standards (CAAHEP, JRCERT);Maintain expertise in the field by engaging in ongoing professional development, research, and scholarly activities;Contribute to faculty governance, institutional service, and committee participation;Collaborate with healthcare partners, clinical affiliates, and faculty to maintain and expand clinical education opportunities;Utilize learning management systems and technology to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes;Foster an inclusive and supportive learning environment that promotes diversity, equity, and student success;Participate in local events related to student recruitment and any other activities related to RADT Program and community outreach;Collaborate with faculty to develop, review, and revise the program’s curriculum to support current industry standards and best practices;Teach evening, distance, and branch campus courses when required;Provide quality teaching including related preparation, grading, and record keeping;Provide class syllabi to students enrolled in classes by the first day of classes and to the division office as requested;Identify individual learning needs of students and make appropriate adjustments in learning environments and activities;Provide student advising for career/academic pathways, mentoring, and support;Contribute to development of composition curriculum and student learning outcomes;Contribute to the assessment of student learning and program outcomes annually;Punctual communication with students, faculty, staff, clinical partners, and administrators;Maintain physical office hours for student advising;Attend faculty, department and division meetings and serve on college committees;Serve on appropriate college and community committees;Perform other related duties as assigned and/or requiredThe Radiologic Technology Faculty ensures compliance by developing, maintaining and shaping curriculum at the program level, the faculty ensures that the Radiologic Technology Program remains compliant with accreditation and industry standards, competitive, and aligned with industry needs, ultimately supporting student success and workforce development.The Radiologic Technology Faculty position has authority to make key decisions related to curriculum delivery, student evaluation, and classroom management. Faculty determine the most effective teaching strategies, instructional materials, and assessment methods to ensure student comprehension and skill development. Faculty have full authority to assess student progress, assign grades, and determine whether students meet the academic and clinical competencies required for program completion. Faculty oversee day-to-day classroom and lab operations, ensuring compliance with safety protocols, equipment usage, and hands-on training procedures. Faculty collaborate with clinical partners, provide on-site supervision, and assess student performance in real-world healthcare settings. Course Faculty contribute to course revisions, aligning content with industry advancements and accreditation requirements. The faculty directly influencestudent success, program quality, and compliance with accreditation standards, ensuring that graduates are well-prepared for certification and employment in the radiologic technology field.

SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION

Only candidates who are currently 73 752 authorized to work in the United States will be considered.Faculty members must submit official, unopened transcripts to the Human Resources department within 30 days of their employment.This is a full-time faculty position contracted on an annual basis. Placement on the faculty salary schedule will be commensurate with educational background and experience. The salary will be prorated to reflect the actual contract days remaining in the academic year. The salary listed is a range based on per month for the quarter. A collective bargaining agreement exists, and this position is covered by the Association for Higher Education (AHE). Flexibility is required to meet the needs of the department. Evening and/or weekend classes, instruction at satellite Olympic College campuses, and off-campus assignments may be a part of the instructional load.Full-Time Faculty qualifies for the following benefits.
