Job Description
The Assistant Chief Financial Officer (ACFO) manages and coordinates the financial affairs of District, directs general business operations, accounting, and statistical reporting activities of Olympic Medical Center (OMC). This position implements systems to identify and control the income and expenditures within OMC including Olympic Medical Home Health, Olympic Medical Physicians, Olympic Medical Cancer Center, and all outpatient services. The ACFO consults with and advises Administration regarding methods for general increased revenues and controlling operational costs in relation to long-term goals of OMC, market trends, and status of the community. The ACFO assists CFO in performing duties of Internal Auditor pursuant to RCW 70.44.171, coordinates yearly audits, including Medicare Cost Report, Yearly Financial Audits, CMS, Noridian Audits, Washington State yearly audits and others as assigned. EDUCATION Master’s degree in business administration or related area, required. CPA preferred. EXPERIENCE 5-7 years’ financial management experience in a hospital setting, required. Minimum of five years’ supervision of management level personnel experience required. LICENSURE/CREDENTIALS None. UNION None.
