Shift Differentials
The Authorization Representative is responsible for following insurance company administrative requirements in order to obtain authorization for services throughout the organization. Acts as a liaison between the referring provider/facility, registration, clinic support, and intake teams to ensure timely and accurate authorization of care. Provides excellent customer service by employing Olympic Medical Center standards. Uses knowledge of insurance coverage and authorization requirements to ensure appointments are authorized appropriately.
EDUCATION
High School diploma or GED required. AA in Healthcare related field or Certification in Medical Office Assistant or Medical Assistant preferred.
Experience
2 years medical office reception, call center or back office.
