Job Description
This key leadership role will oversee all perioperative services including the operations, personnel, finances and quality of care provided within Olympic Medical Center’s Surgical Services Departments. The Director serves as a clinical role model and is actively involved in initiatives to continually improve the patient care experience. This position has oversight and responsibilities of forecasting, creating, implementing, and evaluating functional strategies for the following: staffing, training, performance management, compliance, fiscal management, implementing and evaluating quality improvement plans, work process standards, performance goals to ensure optimal service delivery, employee satisfaction, and patient experience. Collaborate with physicians, managers, supervisors, and other members of the healthcare team to effectively coordinate services.

EDUCATION
- Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing.
- B.S. Nursing/B.S./B.A. in Business or other applicable degree required.
- MSN preferred.
- Minimum of three years’ experience in clinical area.
- Previous management experience demonstrating progressive scope of responsibilities.
- Current Washington State RN license required.
- BLS Certification required.
- CNOR, CPAN, CENP, CGRN, or other applicable professional certification preferred.
