Shift Differentials
Responsible for the receiving patients, collecting demographic and insurance information, verifying insurance coverage and authorization for services and accurately entering data into multiple computer systems for completion of the Imaging Services outpatient admission process. Discuss financial responsibility with patients, maintain accurate patient account information, verify insurance, obtain authorizations/referrals. This position requires the ability to learn and retain a broad base of knowledge concerning all examinations and make quick, independent decisions using good judgment. Work situations require a service-oriented individual with the ability to respond to physicians, patients and families with empathy, respect and understanding. Contacts include patients, families, referring physicians and their office staff.

- Night $5.00/hour
- Weekend Premium $4.50/hour
- Standby Premium $3.50/hour
- Lead Premium $1.50/hour
- Per Diem Premium 15% (on base, in lieu of benefits)

EDUCATION
- High school graduate or equivalent required.
- Medical terminology and knowledge of anatomy preferred.
Imaging Services Rep I:
- Minimum one year of office/reception experience required preferably in a health care setting.
- All requirements of the ISR I position.
- Three years of experience in the ISR I position or experience equal to the ISR I position with another organization as determined by OMC.
