JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Office Supervisor, Olympic Medical Heart Center, manages the day-to-day operations of the Olympic Medical Heart Center (OMHC) offices, including oversight of patient scheduling, transcription, referral coordination, insurance authorization and compliance with Medicare medical necessity guidelines, reception (onsite and phone), incoming/outgoing mail, and other office functions as required. This position supervises the front office staff and coordinates closely with the clinical services staff under the oversight of the Director, and assists the Director with planning, implementation, and follow-up of all OMHC coordinated events. The OMHC Office Supervisor coordinates patient information and activities within and between the OMHC and OMC/OMP departments and facilities. The position requires the abilities of independent decision-making, professional judgment, analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and creativity to work collaboratively with leadership and staff.
EDUCATION
Associate degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Healthcare Management, or closely related field required (candidates with five years’ relevant work experience in a clinical office setting may be considered in lieu of degree)

EXPERIENCE
- Three years’ supervisory experience in a healthcare setting or in a related field preferred
- One year of comparable experience in the office functions in cardiology preferred
