Duties
- Observes collection of urine samples from individuals of the same gender in accordance with established procedures for substance abuse testing protocol.
- Documents the sample collection chain of custody to protect the integrity of the urinalysis collection process.
- Ensures samples are securely packaged and sent for analysis in a timely manner.
- Maintains and enters all data collection and testing results in the program’s Electronic Health Record.
- Prepares reports, as needed.
- Assists with the maintenance of the program’s urinalysis program, including stocking supplies and forms and maintaining testing equipment, testing logs and schedules.
- Testifies in court as to chain of custody of urine samples if required.
- Performs other clerical and janitorial duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- A knowledge of Substance Use Disorders and its effects on individuals, families and communities
- Ability to adhere to all state and federal regulations
- Conducts oneself ethically and professionally at all times, adhering to the agency code of ethics
- No history of alcohol or substance use or abuse for a period of no less than one year prior to start date
Agency will provide all necessary training!
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 per week
