Olympic Tool & Machine Corp. is a supplier and manufacturer of precision machined components and finished assemblies specializing in critical parts for aerospace and flight critical applications. Olympic Tool is currently seeking to hire a skilled individual or train a highly motivated accomplished CNC machinist to be part of our team of recognized and appreciated professionals.

Overview
We are seeking a skilled Cylindrical OD Grinder. (We have Studer brand grinders) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in operating CNC grinding machines and ensuring the quality of finished products. Hourly pay rate commensurate with experience/abilities.

Duties
- Set up and operate CNC grinding machines to grind external and internal surfaces of metallic workpieces
- Inspect workpieces to ensure they meet specifications
- Make adjustments to machine settings to control part dimensions and finishes
- Read and interpret blueprints to understand product specifications
- Perform routine maintenance on machines
- Monitor machine operations to determine whether adjustments are necessary

Skills
- Proficiency in CNC grinding techniques
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints accurately
- Knowledge of using methods of inspection

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.40 - $25.77 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
