Job Description:
We are seeking a Contract Laborer to assist with professional cleaning and maintenance of various facilities. This role involves working in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols are essential. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the facility remains clean, organized, and compliant with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine cleaning of floors, docks, storage areas, etc.
- Operate industrial cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers and sweepers
- Remove debris, trash, and packaging materials from work areas
- Clean and disinfect high-traffic areas, break rooms, restrooms, and office spaces within the warehouse
- Assist with spill clean-up and hazardous material disposal as per safety guidelines
- Maintain cleanliness of loading docks and exterior areas of the warehouse
- Follow all safety procedures to prevent contamination and ensure a hazard-free environment
- Work collaboratively with warehouse staff to maintain an efficient and organized workspace
Requirements:
- Prior experience in industrial or commercial cleaning preferred
- Ability to follow detailed cleaning procedures and safety guidelines
- Comfortable working in large warehouse environments with varying temperatures
- Physically able to stand, bend, and lift up to 75lbs for extended periods
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as needed
- Reliable transportation to and from the job site
- Ability to pass a background check if required by the client
