Job Description
The position holder is responsible for the financial and operational management of the Manufacturing Site, overseeing manufacturing operations and, where applicable, repair operations. This includes providing direct and indirect leadership to all site functions to ensure efficient and effective operations.
Job Duties
- Create local financial and operational plans in alignment with regional management directives.
- Translate regional and site objectives into clear SMART goals based on guidance from the Head of Regional Manufacturing.
- Monitor operational and financial results against budget and plans, implementing countermeasures when needed.
- Ensure all activities comply with quality management, health and safety, legal, and environmental regulations, while demonstrating a duty of care.
- Continuously promote high standards by driving performance, change initiatives, innovation, and positive behaviors.
- Deliver results by setting clear priorities and expectations, allocating resources effectively, and overcoming obstacles.
- Continuously enhance operational performance (SQCDE) based on KPI targets.
- Oversee financial cost management for the site.
- Implement and execute global and regional manufacturing strategies at the site level.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and customers to meet expectations.
- Drive organizational and talent development, with a focus on leadership capabilities.
- Champion the company’s core values, promoting best practices and ethical behavior.
- Ensure the successful launch of new products.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives across all site processes.
- Ensure adherence to laws, rules, and regulations, appointing appropriate managers in compliance with regional/national legal requirements.
- Contribute to the development of local communities and enhance the company's reputation through participation in external organizations in relevant regions.
Job Qualifications
Required:
- Degree in a relevant field (e.g., Engineering, Business Administration).
- 10 years of experience in a manufacturing or similar environment, preferably in medical device manufacturing or other regulated industries.
- 5 years of management experience, overseeing multiple direct reports.
- Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams within complex matrix organizations.
- Strong background in LEAN methodologies, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
- Expertise in organizational development, talent management, and leadership growth.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to present complex information clearly and effectively to audiences with varying technical expertise.
- Strong collaboration skills and a team-oriented mindset.
- Highly organized with strong planning and scheduling abilities.

The anticipated base pay range for this full-time position working at this location is $158,600.00 - $237,899.00 / year, plus potential for annual bonus (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements). Olympus considers a variety of factors when determining actual compensation for this position including: level of experience, working location, and relevant education and certifications.
