Job Description

The position holder is responsible for the financial and operational management of the Manufacturing Site, overseeing manufacturing operations and, where applicable, repair operations. This includes providing direct and indirect leadership to all site functions to ensure efficient and effective operations.

Job Duties

Develop regional financial and operational plans aligned with global strategy and directives.

Translate regional and site objectives into clear SMART goals, ensuring alignment with guidance from the Global Head of Manufacturing.

Monitor operational and financial performance against budgets and targets, implementing corrective actions when necessary.

Ensure compliance with quality management, health and safety, legal, and environmental regulations, while demonstrating a strong duty of care.

Foster a culture of high performance, continuous improvement, innovation, and positive workplace behaviors.

Drive results by setting clear priorities and expectations, effectively allocating resources, and addressing operational challenges.

Continuously improve operational performance (SQCDE) by meeting and exceeding KPI targets.

Oversee financial cost management for regional sites.

Implement and execute global and regional manufacturing strategies across all sites.

Collaborate with stakeholders and customers to meet and exceed expectations.

Lead organizational and talent development, with a focus on strengthening leadership capabilities.

Champion the company’s core values, promoting ethical behavior and best practices.

Ensure the successful launch of new products.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives across all site operations.

Ensure strict adherence to laws, regulations, and corporate policies, appointing appropriate managers in accordance with regional and national legal requirements.

Support local community development, enhancing the company’s reputation through active participation in external organizations within the region.

Job Qualifications

Required :

Degree in a relevant field (e.g., Engineering, Business Administration).

10 years of experience in a manufacturing or similar environment, preferably in medical device manufacturing or other regulated industries.

5 years of management experience, overseeing multiple direct reports.

Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams within complex matrix organizations.

Strong background in LEAN methodologies, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.

Expertise in organizational development, talent management, and leadership growth.

Preferred :

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Ability to present complex information clearly and effectively to audiences with varying technical expertise.

Strong collaboration skills and a team-oriented mindset.

Highly organized with strong planning and scheduling abilities.

Logical and structured approach to problem-solving.

Ability to motivate teams and drive high performance.

Strong financial and commercial acumen.

Proven leadership skills in managing and engaging technical teams.

Ability to drive organizational change and gain credibility at senior levels.

    The anticipated base pay range for this full-time position working at this location is $190,320.00 - $285,479.00 / year, plus potential for annual bonus (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements). Olympus considers a variety of factors when determining actual compensation for this position including : level of experience, working location, and relevant education and certifications.
